JKN Kurt began training in the Bury St Edmunds dojang in 2002 and transferred to Sudbury in 2005. He gained promotion to 1st degree black belt at the European Tournament in 2006. Kurt won numerous medals including triple gold at his first ever European Tournament (for Forms, Techniques and Sparring). He has just completed an honours degree in computer science and, although he no longer trains, still comes along to tournaments regularly to support his mum aka PSBN Karen.
